Emily Rose Jacobsen: How do we get rid of hazing in our fraternities and sororities?

Today we have with us Emily Rose Jacobsen, the Director of Harm Reduction for Alpha Chi Omega! She joined Alpha Chi Omega as an undergraduate at MTSU, and then went on to get her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration at LSU. In episode number 215 of the Fraternity Foodie Podcast, we find out why Emily Rose decided on MTSU for her undergraduate experience, what made Alpha Chi Omega the right sorority for her, what is it like to work for your sorority headquarters and what types of things she’s been working on in that role, what is ASTP Training that training program and how does it change behavior, how can fraternity men flip the narrative and be the ones to ultimately solve this problem of sexual assaults that we’re seeing on college campuses, how do we finally get rid of hazing from our fraternities and sororities, when is a membership review typically used, advice to chapters who aren’t seeing the recruitment numbers they want, and her favorite restaurant in the Middle Tennessee area. Enjoy!
