Rico Lamoureux: How can college students find writing inspiration?

Today on our show we have Author Rico Lamoureux. He believes that variety is the spice of life. His storytelling knows no boundaries as he goes from Children’s Picture Books to Crime Thrillers. Historical Fiction to Horror. Each tale with its own unique voice. For Rico, great storytelling is not about genre, but actual story. Legally blind in one eye and totally blind in the other, Rico and his son Journey Teller are currently working towards reuniting their small family, as Journey’s mama and their mini pin Giacomo are half a world away.

In episode number 196 of the Fraternity Foodie Podcast, we find out why Rico left the Philippines after 18 years with his son, how hard it was to leave his Filipino wife behind because she lacks U.S. citizenship, some possible solutions to reuniting his small family in South Dakota, how reading fiction books can help us solve problems, ways for college students to fight writer’s block, which genres of books college students are reading right now, which of his books would be most interesting for our listeners, how life has been in South Dakota with his son, and which meal he missed the most while he lived outside the United States for 18 years. Enjoy!
