I loved reading this article about ZTA at Youngstown State University raising over $120,000 for Breast Cancer research, awareness, and education. ZTA has been doing the Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic for 15 years, and has raised over $1.3 Million in that time for this great cause. They had over 100 cheer squads and 5,000 spectators at the Youngstown State University event.

In summary, the Pink Ribbon Cheer Classic is a cheer and dance exhibition where teams perform competition routines, halftime performances, or their favorite cheers and dances in honor of those they know who have been affected by breast cancer. All the proceeds benefit Breast Cancer research and awareness on behalf of the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation in addition to a percentage that is donated to the Joanie Abdu Breast Care Center. This is just amazing work.
